Antoinette
Founder & Lead Therapist
Hey there! I’m Antoinette — therapist, wife, mama, cancer survivor, dancer of living room solos, french fry enthusiast, and proud owner of ALO Counseling.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Brainspotting practitioner, sex therapist, and international certified Collaborative Dialogic Practices practitioner. This means I help mend bridges, build connections, re-light (or discover) flames, and walk alongside you as we work toward the life and relationships you actually want. With Brainspotting and somatic work, I help you tune into the deeper parts of yourself — the stuff that lives beyond words — so you can heal at the root, not just the surface.
I’m a relational specialist — meaning I help people build better relationships: with their partners, with their families, and maybe most importantly, with themselves. Whether you’re struggling to reconnect in your marriage, unsure how to express what you need, or trying to rediscover who you are in the midst of change — I’m here to help you get unstuck and create something meaningful.
My approach is holistic and human. That means I see you as a whole person — not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. We’ll look at your relationships, your history, your emotions, your body, your boundaries, your environment — and how all of it intersects. Therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not the “blank slate” type. I’m engaged. I think with you, feel with you, and support you as a thought partner on your journey.
You might be here because things feel stuck. You keep having the same arguments with no resolution. You and your partner feel more like roommates than lovers. You’re craving more intimacy — emotionally, physically, sexually. Or maybe you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, or that sense of “I don’t even know who I am anymore.” I see you.
As a cancer survivor and a mom, I know what it’s like to have your world flipped upside down. I know the weight of big transitions, identity shifts, and rebuilding after life throws you a curveball. Those lived experiences deeply inform how I show up as a therapist: grounded, real, and unafraid of the messy middle.
Therapy with me is a space to get real — no filter necessary. You bring your truth, your hope, your fear, your “WTF is happening?” moments — and I’ll meet you there. Together, we’ll co-create something meaningful, sustainable, and most importantly, yours.
If you’re ready to stop just surviving and start feeling more connected to yourself, your partner, your purpose — I’m all in. Let’s build something real together.
